I’m Kelley

a self-taught UX Designer based in Los Angeles

With my background in communications, I have a unique edge in empathizing with users and crafting intuitive designs. I’m a passionate designer with a love for seamlessly combining aesthetics and functionality. When I’m not designing, I’m geeking out over movies, sipping on boba and traveling (check out my trip to Japan to the left).

I'm eager to take on fresh projects and continue learning. Let's collaborate on crafting meaningful user experiences together!

Experience & Education

I graduated from University of Southern California in 2019 with a B.A. in public relations and a minor in cinema. I worked at NBCUniversal in the communications department for 4 years before pivoting to pursuing UX Design. I recently completed Google's UX Design Professional Certificate Program, and am currently working as a Junior UX Design contractor at Grab Games, developing the Masters Vision Pro app. I’m excited to apply my learned skills and change the way we interact with products.

Why UX?

My love for design, communication, and psychology found a perfect home in UX. It all started when my product manager partner asked my opinion on a product design, sparking a newfound fascination for the field (they even ended up using my design suggestions, which proved to me that I was a natural designer). This experience opened my eyes to the possibilities that UX presents and sent me on my journey to carve my own career in the field.
